⚽️💙🧡 GOHS first scrimmage in the books. Varsity had a big upset victory over Cinco Ranch, ranked #6 in Texas last year! 🙌🏻⚽️
Grand Oaks Win 2-0 vs Cinco Ranch
Early goal scored by Aaron Holovaty and a goal scored by Sean Harper was hit as a volley to the top left inside the 18 brought the win for the Varsity team.
Carlos Mendoza had 3 amazing saves, 2 in the first half!
Cole Davison had a great save in the second half.
Sergio Araoz was sending amazing through-balls in the second half.
Walter Fajardo, first time varsity player, played shutdown defense at centerback along with Zach Woodel.
The Junior Varsity and Freshman teams competed well and had many positives to celebrate but ultmately did not have the outcome they hoped for.
Great way to kickoff the season. Keep up the hard work and looking forward to all the great things to come! Let's GO!! ⚽️💙🧡
